Write a note to your future self and check back in during Semester 2. Part of The Student Self Care Movement.
🎬 As part of Islamophobia Awareness Month, join us for a powerful screening of The Reluctant Fundamentalist, a thought-provoking drama directed by Mira Nair that delves into the challenges of identity, ambition, and belonging in a post-9/11 world.
This film follows Changez Khan, a young Pakistani man who achieves success on Wall Street, only to find himself caught in a storm of suspicion, cultural conflict, and self-discovery.
As Changez’s pursuit of the American Dream begins to unravel, he confronts deep questions about loyalty, faith, and identity. The Reluctant Fundamentalist encourages viewers to reflect on the impact of Islamophobia and prejudice on personal identity in today’s globalized society🌍
🎞️Doors open at 17:00 and the film starts at 17:30.
