Doctoral Students
At The Union, we train Doctoral Students to represent the academic experience of fellow PGR students on their course.
As the undergraduate and postgraduate student experiences are so different, we tailor Doctoral Student training so they can make positive change on Doctoral Student courses at Manchester Met. Have a look at some of the things DSs do below.
Key responsibilities
- Represent the Doctoral Student voice at University and Faculty meetings
- Facilitate communication between Doctoral Students, the University and The Union
- Help make changes to the DS experience
