Don’t struggle in silence - we’re here to help 24/7

Your time at university will be filled with great memories and experiences that you’ll carry for the rest of your life. But, we also know that sometimes things don’t go exactly as we planned - sometimes our time at uni can be painful or confusing, and sometimes you may not even understand what you’re feeling.

That’s why the university has launched a 24/7 Student Support Helpline in collaboration with Spectrum.Life. This service is available 365 days a year and all calls are free unless you’re ringing from overseas.

Calling this number will connect you to a qualified and experienced councillor who can help to work through any problems you’re experiencing, and ensure you find the help, support and guidance you need at that time.

You can talk to them about issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, stress and any other issues that might be taking an emotional toll on you.

The thought of talking to someone might seem a bit daunting at first, which is why you can also visit the Spectrum.Life Web Portal and App that has over 250 hours of online content to further support your wellbeing.

This is full of amazing resources, such as live fitness classes, discount codes, recipes and more, that can really help to manage and improve your mental health.

It’s okay to not be okay and seeking support for personal issues, big or small, can help us get back to where we want to be. Sometimes talking to someone is that first step you need 💛
