We’re so excited to welcome you back to campus for an event-filled semester 2. We know you’ll be busy working hard, as you always are, and we want to make sure the rest of this year is full of amazing memories and experiences.

We have events to help you meet new people, join new societies, learn new skills and, most importantly, have a bit of fun and unwind.

What better way to celebrate the new year than a night of Big Balls Bingo? We have so many amazing prizes up for grabs, from coffee makers and air fryers to nerf guns and a year's supply of teabags - just to name a few!

🚃 Commuters Chat & Chill - Tuesday 30 January, 11:00 - 13:00

Calling all commuters, this is your time to get together, mix and mingle with other students who also brave that journey into Manchester every morning. There’ll be plenty of games and refreshments to go round.

🍕 Post-Grad Pizza - Tuesday 30 January, 16:00 - 19:00

A chance to socialise, have fun, and there’s free pizza - what more could you want? Postgrads, get yourself to The Union to build connections and mingle with other students sharing the same experiences as yourself.

🎨 Give It A Go: Crafts - Wednesday 31 January, 11:00 - 16:00

It’s time to get your creative juices flowing and head to The Union for our first crafts session of the year. We will provide everything you need, from art supplies, music and a relaxing atmosphere, so all you need to do is bring yourself and have fun!

🕺 I Love Wednesdays: Neon Party Lock-In featuring DJ Kokiri - Wednesday 31 January, 21:00 - 02:00

Our club nights are back and this year we are bringing you Spotify DJ Kokiri, for a neon-themed launch night. We want to see you dressed in your best and brightest neon fits, and we’ve got free neon face-paint to complete the look. Oh, and don’t forget a free drink of your choice upon arrival!

Looking for a chilled, friendly environment to meet other mature students? This is your chance to enjoy a relaxed evening of painting and socialising with students just like yourself, all whilst enjoying a delicious free mocktail on us🍹
