The primary goal of this society is to support aspiring accountants by providing you with access to peer guidance, professional insights, and resources that can enhance your employment prospects and help you achieve your career ambitions. This society also helps you start planning for your future. You'll explore different professional bodies, discover job prospects that suit you, and learn what steps you need to take now to reach your goals whether it's gaining work experience, building a CV for placements, and much more!

Objective 1: Networking:

Coming together as a community of those interested in the accounting profession and someone looking to explore their options will allow others to meet like-minded people and have the chance to engage in social events. We will foster collaboration among members to work on projects, research and share experiences. Recognition of accounting knowledge can be awarded through quiz nights and debates as well as other casual social events. Social events such as quiz and games will be held to academically challenge members in a casual environment and promote an enjoyable environment.

Objective 2: Guest speakers:
We shall look to offering educational programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance members' accounting knowledge and skills which can be held by accounting professionals to inspire and educate society members as well as speak upon their journey towards a successful career. This will guide you along which paths are available to you by having a range of professionals who have emerged university with an accounting profession so that you are aware of what options you have.

Objective 3: Career Tips:
We shall look to creating a social media presence where we shall inform members of the society about the role of an accountant and explore aspects in detail. Providing tips on software's to use and navigating around Excel. We will encourage research in the financial field, and we are looking to create a weekly newsletter updating members of what's happening in the current economy.

Objective 4: Professional Development:
This can be achieved through providing opportunities for learning and educating members in certifications to achieve towardseg, ACA, ACCA, CIMA. Providing insight on work experience , internships, placements years and understanding the timelines on many accounting firms such as the Big 4. We can develop their CV through workshops.
