With loads of exciting events coming up this month and beyond, we've got enough for you to beat the January blues. Whether you want to start a new hobby, indulge in some retail therapy (don't spend all that loan at once though) or get involved in campaigning, we've got you covered. 

Thursday 18 January sees Headlock Vintage come back with brilliant deals on their range of pre-loved clothes.

On Tuesday 23 January PrettyLittleThing return to The Union with their sample sale: DJs, prizes and ridiculous bargains — all items are £2 plus all proceeds are donated to CoppaFeel! 

In the evening on 23 January our It's OK to Talk sessions return, easing you into the New Year with some self-care and helping you develop sustainable and positive habits.

Wednesday 24 January is the big one — Refreshers Fair returns with more societies and clubs to get involved with. There'll also be deals, discounts, competitions and of course, free Dominos pizza! After the day, stick around in the evening for the Student Showcase with a variety of performances from our talented societies.

25 January - Disco Dodgeball is back. Netball are holding their annual charity disco dodgeball event to help raise money for Red Cross emergency services fund. 

26 January - Charlie West Cross Codes Cup heads to Sedgely Park with Rugby League taking on Rugby Union for a great cause. 

In February we've also got our Well Funny event aimed at those who self-identify as men, and Poetry Against Hate, with readings from students and others - keep your eyes peeled for more information coming soon.
