We are deeply shocked and devastated following the tragic incident at Manchester Arena last night.
Our thoughts go out to the family and friends of all those who lost loved ones as well as to everyone who was injured or affected.
Both ourselves at The Union and the University are on standby to do whatever we can for any students, staff and those involved.
Anyone affected by the events who needs help and support can contact the University's counselling services on 0161 247 3493 or http://www2.mmu.ac.uk/counselling/crisis/.
We’re open today for anyone who would like to access any of our services or would like a space to be, please don’t hesitate to use The Union for anything you need.
At times like these when they intend to divide us, we need to pull together and be united, and show the world that we will only grow stronger in time of crisis.
Our greatest sympathies to go out to the families of all those who have lost their lives or have been injured in this tragic incident. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all <3
