The 2023 Student Officer Elections are now closed with a turnout of 7,310 voters.

After seven days of campaigning, the Elections have come to an end and your winners were announced on Friday 10 March.

 

The Winners

 

+ President - Ethan Romer

+ Societies and Development - Shazeaa Islam

+ Sports - Savannah Dodsworth

+ Wellbeing - Iqra Nadeem

 

The updated results are now listed above, including a breakdown of full voting results. After the elected President stepped down, a by-election was held, which elected Ethan Romer as President. A huge congratulations to all of the winners and thank you to everyone else who took part in this year’s Elections – both candidates and voters.

The elected Officers will start their role at the beginning of July 2023. They will spend a year representing the voice of the students at Manchester Met and set the direction and goals of The Union.
