Write a note to your future self and check back in during Semester 2. Part of The Student Self Care Movement.
At The Union, we think it’s important that our students get the chance to enjoy a warming meal, spend time with others, and have some fun over the Christmas period.
This year’s Big Union Christmas will take place on Sunday 25 December from 11:00 to 15:00, in the Brooks Building – Birley Campus, where you'll be served a hot roast dinner to warm you up from the winter chill.
There’ll also be a host of activities, such as board games, a film, crafts, and the chance to win prizes in a game of Bingo. We’ve even arranged a small gift for everyone attending.
SU President Letitia Jones says:
“With the Cost of Living crisis impacting the lives of students across the nation, now more than ever it’s important for your SU to be a place of refuge and relaxation; a place you can build a supportive community of friends.
We want to foster the holiday spirit regardless of faith, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability status, for those students who find themselves in the heart of Manchester this Christmas Day.”
So, if you’re in Manchester without any Christmas day plans, why not grab one of the 150 free tickets and pop along for a day of festivity at the Big Union Christmas.
