Back in November, your Student Union President, Leila Enoki, launched Union Cupboard, a community-driven initiative designed to make student life easier and more sustainable.

The idea is simple: We gather items that people no longer need and give them away to students who could use them. Think thrift shop vibes, but completely free💃

We need you🫵

At our last event, thanks to student and staff, we filled 2 clothes rails and 15 tables with donations. This helped so many people access essentials they needed.

Now, we’re gearing up for the next Union Cupboard on Tuesday 1 April, and we need your help to make it bigger and better!

Get Involved:

Wanting to donate? Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Clothing: clothes, shoes, hats, and accessories—those pieces you no longer wear can make someone else’s day!👕👟🧢

• Kitchen stuff: dishes, mugs, cutlery, small appliances (no knives, please!)🍽️☕

• Decorations, games, and books: extra bits and bobs like board games, books, or decorations you want to share🎲📚✨

 

To make sure everyone gets a safe and enjoyable experience, please make sure any items donated are clean and in good condition🧼
