Write a note to your future self and check back in during Semester 2. Part of The Student Self Care Movement.
What are we looking for?
We’re searching for original, inspiring and entertaining content about student life. Whether it’s your top money saving or wellbeing tips, a photo blog of your first week at uni or a vlog that shows off your favourite places in the city, we want to hear your story.
Nobody knows the uni like you do, so who better to get new undergrads and postgrads ready for #LifeAtMCRMet.
We're looking for all sorts of creative content and are open to any ideas but here’s a list to give you some inspiration:
- Memes
- Vlogs
- One sentence story
- Up to 300 word blog
- Recipes
- Reviews
- Poems
- Art work
What's in it for you?
Stories will be published with your name on The Union’s website, emails and social media channels, reaching an audience of over 30,000 students and could even be published in a Welcome booklet sent out to all new students this summer.
This is an amazing experience to add to your CV and will really make a difference to new and returning students.
Interested? Here's what you need to do:
Send your content or idea to c.clemo-hughff@mmu.ac.uk and please include your name and year of study (students graduating this summer can take part too).
Keep an eye on your emails – we’ll be in touch to let you know whether your idea has been selected.
Want to get involved but don't know how?
No worries. Just send us your idea and we’ll get back to you!
