Happening on the 24th and 25th of September from 10:00 to 16:00 at Sugden Sports Centre, you can drop in anytime and explore.
It’s the best time to chat with MMU sports teams and learn about the wide array of clubs and societies offered by The Union.
Don’t forget to grab some freebies, snap some fun pictures in the photobooth, enjoy a tasty Domino’s slice, and snag some incredible student discounts while you’re there! 📸🍕
Your campus will be your home away from home for the next few years, so take some time to explore everything it offers. From The Union to the Business School’s food court and All Saints Park, there’s plenty to discover.
Don’t forget to pick up your student ID card while you’re getting to know the campus! These can be collected from The Business School or Brooks Building throughout September and early October.
One of the first things many students do is set up student discounts — and why not? You can start saving on everything from Apple products to gym memberships and clothing.
Sign up with your university email and browse the many offers available. Great places to start are UNiDAYS and Student Beans.
Once you’ve got your student ID, enjoy 20% off clothing and Chilly’s bottles at The Union Shop!
Register with a GP: For those moving to the city, registering with a local GP might not be top of mind, but it’s crucial to ensure access to the healthcare you might need.
Create a budget: University brings new levels of independence for many, and budgeting is key. Make a budget and, most importantly, stick to it! Our Advice Centre is available to assist if you need any help managing your finances.
