'Odd Tunes' Folk Session at The Salutation Pub
Expect ancient melodies, heart-warming singalongs, and merriment.
A mélange of fantastic local folk musicians will huddle in front of the fireplace at The Sal and spontaneously call tunes from a variety of British, Irish, and wider European musical traditions.
The sessions are casual and welcoming. Musicians and dancers are encouraged to get involved!
The event is FREE to all and you can come and go as you wish. Our usual array of food is available until 8pm and our usual array of drinks are available until last orders.
Folk & Ceilidh sessions are a regular occurrence at The Sal, with the ‘Odd Tunes’ collective and UoM Folk & Ceilidh Society congregating at the pub on alternating Monday evenings.
