Covid

The government has moved England to “Plan B” in response to the Omicron Variant. This means that there are certain restrictions that will be implemented during Refresher’s Fair and some precautions we are encouraging you to consider to help keep Stall’s, Staff and other Students safe. Our main priority is to ensure a safe and fun environment for all.

Government Guidance

 

Face coverings are now legally required for indoor venues. This means you must wear are a face covering inside. (The Union can provide you with a disposable face mask but please try to remember your own. We have a limited supply) We will not be checking Covid passports or lateral flow tests.

Please scan our Track & Trace QR code upon arrival. This will be located at the entrance of the hall. We encourage you to take a lateral flow test the morning of Refresher’s Fair. Order your free tests and each pack contains 7 tests.

Alternatively you can ask for a test at a local pharmacy.

Use the hand sanitiser provided upon arrival and in between new interactions with stalls. Where possible try to keep a physical distance from other people. We encourage you to cover your mouth and nose with a bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you develop any of the following symptoms please do not attend Refresher’s Fair. The most common symptoms of COVID-19 are fever, dry cough, tiredness and loss of taste or smell. Less common symptoms include aches and pains, headache, sore throat, red or irritated eyes, a skin rash or discolouration of fingers or toes.
