Walking Tour: Suffragettes and Significant Women

During this guided walking tour with award-winning tour guide, Jonathan Schofield, you will learn about the history of the Suffragette movement and the many heroines who fought for the representation of women.

During the 1.5-hour tour, you will discover how these incredible women have been commemorated in Manchester though strolling around interiors, buildings and landmarks.

What you need to know:

- Date: Friday 27 September 2024, 14:00 – 16:00

- Locations: The Union, meet outside

- Tickets: Tickets will be £2 per person and must be pre-booked, so get yours now!

The tour itself will be relaxed but may take you round busier areas of the city.

This is an outdoor walking tour so it will not be appropriate for anyone who is not comfortable walking for long periods of time.
