Hello and welcome to 1838 MSOA Collective!  We are a postgraduate artist-led society at Manchester School of Art.

We are helping postgraduate students and alumni to gain better visibility in the art world. Our aim is to:

 

• Publicise the creative work, research, and exhibitions by Manchester School of Art postgraduate students and graduates.

 

• Build an inclusive and supportive student-led community of artists.

 

• Organise artist talks, group crits, socials and events.

 

• Improve knowledge of fine art and painting (including art history, criticism, and philosophy).

 

• Build new connections in the art world.

 

• Explore diverse art narratives and histories from around the world.
