Hi, and welcome to the Philosophy Society! 
Whether you’re a student in the subject, or just someone with an interest, everyone is very welcome! Philosophy encompasses pretty much every aspect of life - joining our society could help you get a new perspective on your degree. And we’re not just academic either! Alongside the weekly society meetings and debates we plan to hold (on contemporary topics, not just ‘philosophical’ ones), we also plan to hold regular socials, a pub quiz, and an end of year celebration. Importantly, we want the society to be what you make of it; we’re always open to ideas, and you can participate as little or as much as you like. So whether you want to get stuck in with a debate, or just go to the pub to chat to other people on your course and elsewhere, our Philosophy Society is the perfect place to do it.
