Training staff on Unconscious Bias
We are on track with this workstream as of 9 March 82% of Library & Cultural Services staff have completed the Understanding Unconscious bias training in Moodle.
Invite BAME Ambassadors and BAME student society into the Library to meet with the Leadership team, helping us to co-create an inclusive digital and physical service
The library has made contact with the BAME ambassadors and invited them to collaborate on an event they hosted at the poetry library. They have also discussed plans to meet with the ambassadors to get their opinions on what they’d like to see from the library.

Define project objectives and parameters
Define current aims and objectives for the reading list audit tool and write them into project briefing notes for use with key stakeholders (Include what skills they will develop because of participating.)

Devise focus group workshop and plan for sampling sessions
Next steps
Recruitment of library associates, review what’s been done in other institutions and then conduct focus group on audit tool with key stakeholders (e.g. student reps, BAME Ambassadors) and finalise with a report including recommendations.
