W.E.L.Safe CIC is a not for profit organisation delivering welfare and harm reduction support at live events, clubs and festivals, creating non-judgemental safer spaces for all.
W.E.L.Safe will be delivering welfare, ensuring event goers are staying safe and enjoying their experience, by offering a place to chill out and relax, recuperate if under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, get guidance and information around harm reduction, support with mental health at events, a safe space if people are feeling vulnerable and being able to chat with a friendly non-judgemental face.

Our team of volunteers will offer support to people attending every Warehouse Project event who may need a space to recuperate, relax or chat in confidential space away from the busyness of the night. We have an outdoor welfare area staffed with a team as well as roaming outreach teams inside the venue. Transport costs covered including taxi home if after midnight.

Responsibilities:

  • Be a friendly face to people that come to Welfare with questions, resources or to chat.
  • Support vulnerable people who may need additional support as a result of taking too much alcohol and/or drugs.
  • Support people who may be experiencing anxiety or other mental health concerns.
  • Help create a safe space for all.
  • Be non-judgemental, the welfare area is a safe space.
  • Work as part of a team.

Once registered, you will also be able to sign up for additional events at different venues as well as festivals including Lost Village, Kendal Calling, YNOT, Truck Festival, Outbreak Festival, Radar Festival and plenty of others!
